  2. My aim is to raise the level of discourse about ideas that matter to my readers and me. Please engage in a reasoned exchange of views, avoiding flaming, name-calling, obscenities and insults. Humor is certainly welcome.

  4. Please respect the law. Do not post copyrighted material (unless you own the copyright) or attempt to engage in illegal behavior of any sort.
